DESCRIPTION
The Helite Turtle 2 is the latest, improved, version of our mechanical triggered airbag systems. A perfect merge of safety, technology and style. The ideal ‘go-to’ vest for the x-country phase or for the safety-conscious rider.
Used by both bikers and horse back riders alike. The Turtle 2 offers back, neck and spinal protection 50 times better than your standard Level 2 back protector. Available in a variety of colours with discrete retro-reflective strips for increased visibility when out hacking on the road.
AIRBAG PROTECTION
Once inflated the Airvest stabilises the head, neck and spine of the individual.
Minimises the possibility of hyperflexion/extension and whiplash injuries.

TURTLE TECHNOLOGY
Breakthrough innovation; 4x more protective than a normal standalone airbag.
Turtle technology refers to the placement of a SAS-TEC Level 2 back protector on the outside of the airbag creating a “turtle-like” protective shell.
When a force is applied to the Turtle air vest the back protector disperses the energy across the airbag; significantly reducing the transmitted force to the user.
The turtle vest is capable of delivering 50 times less transmitted force therefore significantly reducing the chance of injury.
BACK PROTECTION
SASTEC 1621 Level 2 integrated back protector.
TRIGGER SYSTEM
Mechanically activated via the use of a detachable lanyard/saddle strap system.
Simple reloading system meaning you can be back on board in less than 2 minutes.
NOTE: To increase reliability and faster inflation correct installation of the lanyard and saddle strap combination is required. PLEASE SEE MANUAL.
VISIBILITY
Discrete reflective strips added for increased night visibility whilst maintaining a stylish finish.
CANISTER
CO2 canister used for inflation. Requires replacement after use.
Available in 50cc, 60cc and 100cc. Size of canister varies according the size and style of the vest used.

Every person’s size and shape are different. Our size charts are presented for information only. We recommend that you do not wear an airbag if you weigh less than 35 kg.
The Turtle 2 is available in 7 sizes: From XS to XL-L.
The Turtle 2 airbag is designed to be worn over your normal clothing or usual motorcycle or equestrian equipment e.g. jackets, body armour etc.
Please remember to take this into account when taking measurements.
