Tuned for the Tour
The muscular 1084cc parallel-twin engine, derived from the Africa Twin, has been meticulously tuned for the NT1100's touring purpose. With a focus on low-to-mid-range performance, the engine delivers robust torque from a low RPM, ensuring immediate and responsive acceleration. This is achieved through a higher compression ratio, revised intake and exhaust systems, and a finely-tuned ECU. The result is a smooth, strong power delivery throughout the rev range, making for effortless overtakes and a supremely comfortable ride across all terrains, whether you're navigating city streets or cruising the open highway.

Seamless and Intuitive
Available with Honda's revolutionary Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), the NT1100 offers a seamless and intuitive riding experience. This advanced system features two clutches—one for odd-numbered gears and one for even—providing instant, smooth, and precise gear changes. With a choice of manual or automatic modes, including three distinct automatic shift schedules (Drive, Sport 1, and Sport 2), riders can tailor the transmission to their preference and riding style. This eliminates the need for a clutch lever, reducing rider fatigue and allowing for a more focused and enjoyable journey, especially in stop-and-go traffic or on winding roads.

Electronic Suspension Upgrade
With settings specifically developed for the NT1100, the system instantly provides optimal damping force relative to stroke speed, the riding dynamic and the bike’s attitude as detected by the IMU and other sensors. It adapts in real time; during braking dive is controlled to maintain stability and the ride provided is unmatchable by a conventional setup. And Showa-EERA™ automatically links to riding mode selection: TOUR delivers firm damping for higher speeds, URBAN offers a mid-way balance for comfort and RAIN uses lower damping force, smoothing response and feel. Customisation is possible and rear spring preload can be adjusted while on the move.
